SETH YOUNG

President/CEO

Seth brings over a decade of comprehensive experience in financial analysis and accounting management, spanning multinational business, banking, and manufacturing. He considers it a blessing to now lead and guide Shepherd Financial Group, its team, and its clientele. Seth’s favorite aspects of his role as CEO include the opportunity to work with people, solve problems, and enhance operational systems through Shepherd’s Advisory Services. Seth has devoted much of his time in ensuring the alignment of business practices with his faith in Christ, evident in how the company conducts business, serves its customers, and cares for its people. In his free time, Seth prioritizes his family, cherishing moments with his wife and two young children. Together, they enjoy gardening, and playing games.

JACK DUNBAR

Accounting Manager

Jack brings a wealth of experience to his role as Accounting Manager. His professional journey includes logistics and business development for a major Amazon seller, diverse sales roles in various industries, and seven years as the Associate Pastor for a small church plant. For the past three years, he’s juggled part-time pastoral work and his role as Accounting Manager at Shepherd. Jack, finds fulfillment in bringing order to financial complexities allowing entrepreneurs to focus on their passions. His favorite aspect of the job is the opportunity to love and serve both clients and staff. In his free time, he enjoys time with his family and indulging in his love for board games through his Christian board game business, New Kingdom Gaming.

Accounting Specialist

Emily brings over a decade of customer service experience and a Business Analytics degree from Eastern Washington University to her role. After transitioning out of the fast-paced world of marketing, Emily returned to her roots as a “numbers nerd,” and joined Shepherd, where she finds joy in organizing clients’ books, conducting monthly reconciliations, and solving problems for busy business owners. Emily appreciates the passionate commitment to client and team support at Shepherd. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, working out, cooking, and fishing with her husband.

TOM LEMBECK

Accounting Specialist

Tom brings a wealth of experience and a dynamic skill set to his role at Shepherd. After earning his degree from Whitworth University in 2015, Tom Lembeck embarked on a diverse professional journey. In 2022, Tom pivoted to Workforce Management as an analyst, contributing to strategic organizational planning. Now, as an Accounting Relationship Manager, Tom’s multifaceted experience uniquely positions him to navigate client relationships with expertise and adaptability. In his free time, Tom enjoys reading, working out, mastering Excel, playing with his 2 kids, and going on dates with his wife.

Lauren Swinford, brings a wealth of experience gained through years of working in a high-stress hospital environment. As Lauren was transitioning out of that work to focus on raising her three young children, she has honed her expertise in client interaction and file management, excelling at bridging the gap between small business owners and Shepherd’s accounting operations. In her free time, Lauren dedicates herself to her three children, shuttling them to various activities, and enjoys reading a diverse range of books. With aspirations to support families who have experienced NICU trauma, Lauren remains dedicated to making a positive impact beyond her professional role.

Lori Nielson brings valuable experience from her role in launching her husband’s manufacturing business, where she handled office and bookkeeping services. She also has experience working with a variety of other bookkeeping and accounting clients. Lori enjoys collaborating with her team and takes pride in organizing financial records for her clients. In her free time, Lori treasures spending time with her family, especially as her children grow older. She also enjoys spending time in the mountains of her home state of Utah, listening to music, doing home improvement projects, and serving her church community.
